Laminam, at Marmomac 2017 with new textures for 1.620×3.240 mm ceramic slabs

5 octubre, 2017

For the fifth consecutive year, Laminam took part to Marmomac (27-30 september, Verona, Italy), the reference exhibition in the stone materials sector.

There, Laminam unveiled to the international audience of architects and operators in the marble processing and distribution sector, the latest innovations regarding its revolutionary ceramic slab, the fruit of sustainable technologies and an avant-garde manufacturing process.

The undisputed star was the 12 mm thick slab measuring 1.620×3.240 mm
, which is aimed at the world of interior design and is ideal for horizontal indoor and outdoor surfaces, from tables to bathroom vanity units and kitchen worktops. Launched just 2 years ago, these ceramic surfaces have already won a significant share of the market and seen exponential growth in demand thanks to their excellent technical and aesthetic properties. The Laminam surface is hygienic, anti-bacterial, scratch and stain-resistant, and is available in a wide range of textures, now boosted with the addition of 12 novelities which are all displayed at the exhibition booth.

Cava, the top-selling series that magnifies the natural veining of marble and reproduces stone surfaces, is expanded with nine new finishes that offer striking visual effects for a true wow factor: Arabescato and Arabescato Lucidato, Statuarietto and Statuarietto Lucidato, Emperador Extra and Emperador Extra Lucidato, Pietra Grey and Pietra Grey Lucidata, Pietra di Savoia Perla Bocciardata

The 1.620×3.240×12 mm series now offers the world of interior design stylish new options, with the addition of two finishes from the latest series in the 3 mm thick 1000×3000 mm size, which was presented in April at the Salone del Mobile fair: Seta – Liquorice and Gris, inspired by silk, one of the world’s oldest and finest fabrics.

Lastly, Bianco Assoluto, the pristine white finish of the Tinta Unita series in the 1.620×3.240mm size, measuring 5.6 and12 mm thick, which was an immediate success on the market, was presented in a new 20 mm thick version that is even more opulent, with enhanced performance.

The set-up of the booth was designed to showcase all the installation possibilities of 1.620×3.240 mm slabs, combining new textures with consolidated finishes in an exciting mix of contrasting colours and materials that delivers a highly striking visual impact. The intensely dark floor created with 5+ mm thick OssidoNero slabs, highlighted the pristine white marble-like vertical surfaces of Cava – Statuarietto Lucidato 12+, also installed in a bookmatch design, while the centre of the booth was dominated by the reception desk in Ossido – Bruno, a rusty hue that drawed on artisanal iron work embracing technology and art.

The table tops in the hospitality area have been created using four of the new finishes in both 12 mm and 20 mm thicknesses, produced for the world of interior design: Bianco Assoluto, Arabescato Lucidato, Emperador Extra and Seta Liquorice. The booth was surrounded by an abstract technical perimeter along which the 12 novelities are arranged horizontally on metal A Frames, which were also used to store them at the end of the manufacturing cycle, having been purpose-designed to allow safe stacking of slabs without any risk of damage.
