Restyling for Scavolini’s Mood kitchen

10 enero, 2019

A new way of interpreting space characterises the restyling of one of Scavolini’s best selling collections, Mood, designed by Silvano Barsacchi.

10.01.2019 Modern style and cutting edge functionality are just two of the characteristics of Scavolini’s Mood kitchen, with its enormous appeal for elegant, sophisticated domestic interiors, the expression of a cosmopolitan lifestyle.

With its clean, clear lines, Mood fits perfectly into a metropolitan setting, adding value to the space it inhabits. A kitchen which accompanies the new rhythms of daily life and, with its stand out features – new finishes, exclusive materials and colours, and three completely new handle designs – makes a strong statement in any setting.

Mood wins with its innovation, functionality and aesthetics, offering, among others, island solutions with integrated tables – a unique feature of its type – a functional, fully featured wall for the living room – perfectly coordinated with the kitchen – and a special wall unit with slanted door to satisfy the demands of contemporary furnishing trends.

A further touch of class is offered by the new square, round and integrated handle designs, particularly in the version with the black knurled insert matching the plinths, for a refined result of indisputable elegance.

Features

From the point of view of styling, Mood stands out for the use of numerous materials and its strong personality:

  • Decorative elements in larch, walnut, oak, teak, elm, oxide and concrete;
  • Glossy and matt lacquers, in a variety of new colours including Blue Moon;
  • Matt laminates in new finishes including textured Calacatta, Statuario and Grey Stone;
  • Walnut and oak veneers in 10 different grades to highlight the texture of the wood;
  • Polished and matt glass;
  • Biomalta with 4 new, elegant clay finishes offering a new tactile experience;
  • Leather and leatherette;
  • Fenix NTM with its metropolitan look and feel, in nine different finishes.

The wide range of colour options allows the client to achieve a personal style in both urban, eclectic settings thanks to the use of strong colours, and in more traditional settings, with more delicate nuances.

Functionality and aesthetics are perfectly united in the details: from the Setup equipped back panel for outstanding comfort, to the painted metal wall units combined with the wall unit with slanted door, and large capacity tall units for domestic appliances and cookware storage. The end result is a furnishing line with strong character, the perfect marriage of functionality and style.

Living

The newly restyled Mood also offers living room solutions in line with recent interior decoration trends, emphasising ergonomics and flexibility in addition to aesthetics marked by soft, well-balanced lines. The evocative compositions for the living room add value to the setting with a fully-fledged style experience. Mood thus creates a space which – thanks to sophisticated colour combinations, shelves, wall-mounted bases and alternating closed and open spaces with open-fronted units and units closed with doors – makes a personal statement without compromising conviviality. Two brilliant solutions characterise the living area with functional, high impact furnishings: the Fluida and Metro wall systems amplify the sensation of space while unifying the kitchen and living room.
