Hettich celebrated its 125 years at Interzum

On May 13, as part of Interzum, was held the event to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Hettich. The approximately 1.500 attendees could enjoy of a show performed by employees of the company.

Two dates essentially define the Hettich Group@¬#s history: 1888, the year in which the parent company was established in the Black Forest, and 1930, the founding year of the sister company in Herford. The group is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2013 and will be donating 125.000 euro to welfare projects supported by staff members.

Outside their work, many of Hettich@¬#s staff take part as volunteers in social welfare projects world-wide. The projects are directed towards various groups: children/youths, sick persons/persons in need of care, poor/needy, sport, nondiscrimination of women, local heritagesocieties, international understanding and rescue services. In Germany, 53 projects will be receiving support of 1.250 euro each one, 42 of them being in East Westphalia. Fourteen projects are abroad.
