FEDERMUEBLE promotes trade with Iran

The Spanish Federation of Employers and Industrialists of furniture, FEDERMUEBLE, represented by the association RED (Design Business Meeting), organized a trade mission held from 13 to 15 August to HOFEX, the international furniture fair in Tehran.

The fair is organized by Iran Furniture Manufacturers & Exporters Union (FIPCO), with which FEDERMUEBLE signed a collaboration agreement to promote trade between the two countries as well as knowledge transfer to improve competitiveness. The visit was also attended by representatives of three companies of furniture from Valencia, Ascension Latorre, Muebles Picó and Confortec.

Iran represents a business opportunity for Spanish furniture sector, thanks to the industrial capacity of this country@¬#s enterprises. In addition to better analyze the possibilities of the country and strengthen the signed agreement, FEDERMUEBLE is considering the organization of a new commercial visit on the occasion of the fair MEDEX (International Fair Home and Office Furniture, Decor, Accessories, Machinery and Equipment industry furniture) to be held in the coming months
