The Furniture Sector Plan that coordinates ANIEME (National Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters of Spain) aims to offer companies new business opportunities in international markets.

To do this, ANIEME finds new distribution channels and emerging markets as well as strengthens and intensify those in which it is already working.

Anieme internacionalización del mueble español

The General Assembly has already approved ANIEME Sector Plan 2014, which includes 30 promotions in 24 different markets. The emerging new markets and diversification of export destinations Spanish furniture are the two priority objectives within the Plan.

So, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Ivory Coast  joined the opening begun by ANIEME in West African countries such as Ghana, Angola, Nigeria and Cameroon.

In turn, the countries that will be the subject of trade missions and B2B meetings in this exercise are Equatorial Guinea, Angola, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Peru, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, China and India.

This reflects the interest of ANIEME to address emerging markets in geographical areas that today have the greatest business potential in the sector of furniture and decoration: sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Latin America, Middle East and the area Russia and former Soviet Republics.

So, the Association aims to promote the channel contract through concrete actions such as the figure of promoter target furniture sector, which in 2014 will take place in Morocco, Middle East, Mexico, Panama, Switzerland and Austria.

ANIEME coordinates as in previous years holdings grouped by Spanish furniture companies in the most prestigious international fairs, such as fairs IMM Cologne in Germany, Maison & Objet in Paris, the International Furniture Fair of Milan, INDEX Dubai and Furniture China in Shanghai. As a novelty, next year plans to convene also holdings grouped in MEBEL INTERIOR fairs in Kiev (Ukraine), Maison & Objet Singapore, Esprit INDEX meuble in Paris and Mumbai (India).

ANIEME also plans to expand its database of importers, dealers and specifiers of European Union countries, which will help to strengthen the presence of Spanish furniture in "mature" markets where there is already strong presence, though with ability to increase market share. The promoters of the furniture in Austria and Switzerland will contribute in turn to strengthen the presence of Spanish brands in these countries.

In turn, ANIEME organizes trade missions to the fair  HABITAT VALENCIA, which in 2014 will be held in parallel with CEVISAMA 11 to February 14.

In the field of training, ANIEME continues organizing various seminars on emerging markets, as well as training sessions on social networks and on export initiation aimed at furniture companies with little experience in internationalization.

In communication, ANIEME performs a wide dissemination of news concerning MUEBLE DE ESPAÑA internationally, through social networks and new digital platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Pinterest and YouTube.

The PREMIUM COMMUNICATION service helps also to companies that have not developed a communications strategy itself to design a communication plan that brings your news to the international media. ANIEME publishes its own magazine SPANISH PROJECTS, through which are disclosed international contract projects undertaken by Spanish furniture companies, and that the Association sends to its more than 8,000 international contacts each quarter.
