Construmat: from Barcelona to Mexico

Construmat, International Living room of the Construction organised by Fira of Barcelona, follows keeping a series of meetings with diverse institutions and companies of all the world to give them to know the details of the next edition of 2013: it treats of a road show international to present the living room to the main companies and associations of the sector in the emergent markets and propose them the Barcelonan contest like forum of contracting and new construction solutions.

In this strategy to offer to the Spanish and European companies a space of business that, in front of the stagnation of the internal market, allow them access to agreements in the most dynamic economies, the director of the living room, Pilar Navarro, has travelled to Mexico to gather with governmental entities and private companies of construction and dispatches of architects.

Like this, Navarro has interviewed, among others, with the responsible maxima of the National Organism of Normalisation and Certification of the Construction and Edificación (Onncce), entity of national field that has like main aim the improvement of the quality and of the competitiveness of the products, processes, services and systems related with the industry of the Mexican construction, and with the Procuraduría Environingingmental and of the Legislation of the Territory of Mexico Federal District (Paot), public institution that looks after the improvement of the environingingment and by the territorial development ordered of the Mexican capital.

In the field of the private company, stands out the contact established with the responsible maxima of ICA, the company of the most important sector of Mexico that has built a high number of civil works and edificaciones so much in his country (lines of metre of Mexico DF and Monterrey, 43 airports and diverse motorways and hydroelectric head offices, for example) as abroad (networks of metre of Santiago of Chile and Miami), between others.

These meetings of work in Mexico add to the presentations of Construmat 2013 in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru or Uruguay with the aim to increase the degree of internationalisation of the living room and give form to the innovative Forum Contract of the edition of 2013, in which more than 170 projects of construction of the most dynamic markets of the world will be presented to the European providers that, like display units, participate in Construmat.
