Lapitec will be on show at the Salone del Mobile.Milano tradeshow, in a variety of different locations and contexts.

05.04.2018 This year, the main protagonists at the Salone del Mobile.Milano will be the new colours and the technical and aesthetic qualities of sintered stone. In fact, a host of kitchen companies have chosen Lapitec as a material for their worktops, tables and furniture.

Nero Assoluto and Bianco Assoluto will be one of the focal points of the Maistri stand, which will be presenting two different versions of the Giza kitchen. Nero Assoluto will be used for a monolithic-style unit, with worktops and doors in sintered stone and a Pitt Cooking worktop with three integrated burners and refrigeration system. Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the colour scale will be a Bianco Assoluto kitchen, with an integrated sink and a Lapitec patented under-worktop induction hob.

Lube, Cadore Comprex, Del Curto, Febal and Scavolini (on show in the Diesel Living collection) will all be showcasing kitchens with Lapitec worktops. Fully body sintered stone will also feature on a table by Roda, the high-end, Brianza-based outdoor furnishings company.

Milano Design Week

Meanwhile, at Milano Design Week 2018, Marco Piva will be using the material for The Secret Colors of Milan project, on show in the centre of Milan at Galleria Manzoni (exhibition from 16 to 22 April, free entry). The architect, who presented the new colours with the company at the last Cersaie tradeshow, has developed an immersive display with an itinerary featuring eight different spaces, two of which use Lapitec stone.

In fact, two walls of the scenographic interiors have been finished in sintered stone, which has been used to create a striking chromatic and geometric effect, where the composition of shape and colour recalls Cubism and the aesthetic of Mondrian.

An exhibition under the banner of contemporary luxury, which will also feature a concept kitchen created using a natural combination of wood and Lapitec, and a reproduction of a luxury project designed by Studio Marco Piva, in which the architect pays tribute to the city of Milan.
