A new London showroom for Schiffini

25 enero, 2018

Schiffini has recently opened a new Flagship Store  in a commercially strategic location at 21 Duke Street in the centre of London, just around the corner from the city’s famous Oxford Street.

25.01.2018 Some of Schiffini’s top kitchens are on show in the display area, which spans two floors. Taking centre stage is the new Lepic, which was designed by Jasper Morrison. It appears alongside Mesa by Alfredo Häberli and the iconic Cinqueterre kitchen by Vico Magistretti, the quintessential Schiffini designer.

Lepic
is a product of the partnership between Schiffini and Jasper Morrison. It was launched in 2016 and new finishes and variations will be introduced in 2018 to expand the range of functions and modular possibilities. The different materials and features that are brought together by the minimal style can be combined in countless ways. The design reflects the “super normal” concept that is the cornerstone of Jasper Morrison’s creative outlook, as epitomized by Lepic’s understated style and meticulous attention to detail.

Cinqueterre is the consummate embodiment of the alliance between Schiffini and Vico Magistretti. Launched back in 2000, it is still hugely successful today and continues to serve as a symbol of innovation in the field. Part of the reason for this is because Cinqueterre was the first kitchen to be made entirely of aluminium. It is an unadulterated piece of cutting-edge design and it boasts the timeless qualities that can only be found in real icons.

Designed by Alfredo Häberli, Mesa portrays the kitchen as a laboratory and a place full of life that is the heart of the home. Everything revolves around the multi-purpose central island that conveys a sense of conviviality. Simple lines sum up the spirit of this modern kitchen, which fuses functionality and rationality.

London, design capital

These are just a few of the kitchens that are on display in the new London showroom, which really shines the spotlight on the company as part of a clearly defined strategic approach, as underlined by Enrico Schiffini: The opening of a new Flagship Store right in the middle of London falls within the scope of a broader marketing plan. The company intends to take direct charge of markets that are particularly significant on the strategic front because they can influence brand awareness and development on a global scale. London is unquestionably one of these markets not only due to the important role that it has taken on in recent years as a contemporary design capital but also because of the number of outstanding international architecture and interior design firms that are based in the city.
