Sanwa Company from Japan will be at the forthcoming edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano/EuroCucina FTK (April, 17-22) to present its new concept The Impact of Compac: a collection of compact kitchens which expresses the most cutting-edge Japanese technology.
22.02.208 The Impact of Compac, by Sanwa Company, has the added value of uniting the contemporary minimalist style we now associate with Japan, with a research experience involving eminent names of Italian design.
The chosen solutions highlight the meaningful research process conducted by Sanwa Company to marry an unmistakable style with the recent furnishing developments of contemporary living modules. Thanks to the introduction of these elements, interior spaces may be transformed and used in some amazing and unprecedented ways, both in residential and hospitality applications.
AM 01, designed by Alessandro Mendini
In particular, there are three new product releases destined to create a buzz: AM 01, designed by Alessandro Mendini, EO 01 by Elisa Ossino and BA 01 by Bestetti Associati. Alessandro Mendini, an international designer who has always been engaged in industrial design and has collaborated with numerous prestigious companies throughout the world, has applied his creativity, poetic vein and sense of fun in the AM 01 project. A single block measuring 120×72.8×210 cm containing functional elements – a sink, small storage elements and a hood – which are concealed behind decorative door fronts, the linchpin element of the project.
In this way, the kitchen block becomes an authentic furnishing element, thanks to its unmistakable style, while conferring a strong character to the room. AM 01 finds its ideal setting in indoor spaces, ranging from offices to residences and private apartments and, in the same way as a piece of furniture, may stand against the wall or be positioned in the center of the room.
