Schock at area30: Successful trip to East Westphalia

The journey to East Westphalia in northern Germany really paid off for Schock: Our booth was very well visited across all five exhibition days, said Sven-Michael Funck, Schock’s CSO. Area30 2018 was an extremely successful trade fair for us.

18.10.2108 Featuring bold colours, Schock’s booth was a real eye-catcher in the exhibition hall. Through a series of framed shop windows visitors were able to glimpse Schock’s various interior design scapes – and see how the innovative quartz composite sinks and high-end mixer taps can create design highlights in a range of different settings.

Two motifs characterised the company’s exhibition presence this year: travel and functions. As an example of added functionality, the new Kyoto sink design garnered a great deal of interest at the exhibition booth. The Kyoto range is available with steamer accessories to help people bring the healthy attributes of Asian steam cooking into their own homes. Following on from the Prepstation, which also made the trip up to Area30, the Kyoto is another product designed to be an ergonomic and multifunctional kitchen aid – with a design that satisfies the highest standards.

Places that people long to visit and unusual holiday destinations were the concept behind the colour schemes unveiled in the new, limited edition Inspiration Line. With this collection, Schock brings the mountains of Nevada, the rainforests of South America and the desert landscapes of Arabia into the kitchen.

And Schock wouldn’t be Schock if there weren’t the odd creative surprise awaiting delegates at the exhibition booth. One highlight was the “candy paradise” the company laid on to take visitors right back to the tastes of their childhood. And trade fair offers were presented to delegates in a very special way to match Schock’s Never ordinary.
