Titus Group exhibited its latest cabinet hardware innovations at SICAM Pordenone 2017, Italy.

19.10.2017 T-type, fast and easy cabinet assembly with ‘3Way’ mounting
T-type, Titus’ new generation hinge,
enables time-savings at cabinet assembly with shallow hinge cup and ‘3Way’ ‘snap-on’ mounting assuring a life-long consistent performance on a wide range of kitchen, bedroom and other doors.

3Way Cam5000 Furnica Poznań 2017 Glissando T-Type Quickfit TL5 Full Metal Jacket Slimline Tekform Titus Group WoodWelding
Low hinge cup drilling depth suits cabinet door thickness from 15 to 26mm and assures a consistent performance on a variety of door dimensions and weights. Its rigid design ensures reliable operation over a wide range of tolerances, even in the case of accidental misalignment and inaccurate drillings. The ‘3Way’ ‘snap-on’ mounting plate allows for an intuitive hinge-to-plate mounting in three directions, which enhances and simplifies the mounting experience and enables easy door installation even in tall cabinets where 4-5 hinges per door are required. An easily accessible adjustment button provides intuitive adjustment of the damping action which gives an efficient soft closing performance on doors of different dimensions and weights.

High performance Quickfit TL5 ‘Full Metal Jacket’for multiple wooden materials
Quickfit TL5 ‘Full Metal Jacket’
is a high-performance Quickfit dowel with greater resistance to dowel pull-out, providing optimal strength and efficient performance in MDF, chipboard and solid wood, without the use of wooden dowels.

An expanding steel sleeve assures a reliable engagement in the dowel hole of 5mm which enables the usage of the tool-less Quickfit dowel insertion technology across a wide range of applications. Its self-adjustment feature provides an edge-to-hole-centre tolerance of +/-1mm which helps to overcome drilling inaccuracies.

Cam5000 – a high strength and smooth closing for ‘Confidence in use’
A wealth of experience from four decades of designing and providing cam & dowel solutions have been merged into a new Cam5000. Its outstanding strength and a smooth, reliable locking action provides a greater user ‘Confidence in use’ together with Titus’ Quickfit dowels.

A strong cam design with reinforced engagement in the hole prevents from cam tilting and bursting which increases resistance and allows for an effective performance in wider tolerances range. A linear profile optimises the torque and enables a reliable and comfortable locking with a noticeable stop at 2 o’clock, which facilitates end user cabinet assembly and assures strong cabinet joint.

Tekform drawer range enlarged with ‘slimline’ version
To adapt the offering to the demanding high end kitchen and bathroom market, Titus enlarged the Tekform drawer, family of double wall drawers, with Tekform slimline drawer featuring sleek look with 14mm side panels for an efficient utilisation of the drawer space.

Tekform slimline drawer uses same drilling patterns for runners as the 1st generation of Tekform drawers enabeling easy drawer interchangeability and flexibility in use. The new addition is available in various attractive finishes that perfectly match the contemporary design of the furniture.

Titusoft SD100s soft closing mechanisms for sliding doors for bottom running systems
Titusoft SD100s
is a soft closing mechanism for bottom running sliding doors. It has a compact design that allows for mounting in the railing without taking extra cabinet space.

The system is non handed and uses a patented double stage spring which minimises the pull-out force and enables effortless door opening. Titusoft SD100s can be quickly and intuitively installed during the furniture assembly or later, when the furniture is already in use. Titus hydraulic damper, the core component of Titusft SD100s, ensures a reliable and consistent soft closing action and a ‘ConfidentClose’ throughout the lifetime of the furniture.

Titus damper – Eliminate noise and improve safety
Soft closing devices built into home equipment can eliminate or significantly reduce various unpleasant sounds occurring at opening, closing or other type of movements when two elements hit each other.

Installation of a damper can also avoid issues related to safety, for example trapping a finger when closing a cabinet door. Opening and closing, lifting and lowering lids can be uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous if heavy and sharp objects, like a furniture or oven door, descends or closes very fast. This is where a Titus damper comes in. It regulates uncontrolled movements of lids and is helpful in enhancing safety. Even if closing a lid is fast or forced by hand, a damper will always provide controlled movement of an element.
