The Rödinghausen-based company’s gross sales rose to 466 million euros in 2015 (2014: 406 million euros). In total, 183,000 kitchens were produced by 1,337 employees last year – and sold all over the world.

With growth of 15 percent as compared to 2014, Häcker Kitchens is once again underlining its position as one of Europe’s leading kitchen manufacturers and continuing to develop better than the sector average. The 60 million euro increase in gross sales to 466 million euros (before deduction of sales returns, allowances and discounts) is due to several effects. The built-in appliances line of the Blaupunkt brand, for which Häcker Kitchens has owned the sole rights since early 2014, was positioned very successfully in numerous markets and is enjoying strong demand, thus playing an important part in the successful development of the company’s business. With domestic sales accounting for 62 percent and foreign sales for 38 percent of total turnover, the export ratio remained unchanged.

We are very pleased with our result for 2015, especially in view of the strong market environment we have to contend with in the German kitchen furniture industry, says managing director and owner Jochen Finkemeier. We owe our above-average growth to our convincing products, our many satisfied customers and of course our excellent team.

The latter grew impressively again last year: 1,337 employees worked for Häcker Kitchens at the turn of the year (2015/16). With an increase of 161 new employees in 2015, the family company is proving to be one of the biggest employers in the region and will continue to invest in East Westphalia this year. Besides the planned investments in our modern production facilities, we will also be adding another chapter to our success story by significantly expanding our administrative capacity at the Rödinghausen site, says Dirk Krupka, Managing Director Technology. The number of employees wasn’t the only record-breaking figure last year: Häcker Kitchens produced 183,000 kitchens in 2015 – another all-time high.

We’re well placed for 2016 and optimistic about the future. Our trading partners can rest assured that we will continue on our successful path together with the accustomed intensity. Our exhibitor’s booth at EuroCucina in Milan in mid-April is certain to be exciting and we’re planning a number of highlights for our in-house exhibition in September too
, says Markus Sander, Managing Director Sales and Marketing. We see plenty of growth opportunities in the year ahead – not just on the German market, but on all the foreign markets that are relevant for Häcker Kitchens.
