Guidoni Group, at Vitória Stone Fair 2019

Guidoni Group participated in Vitória Stone Fair 2019 with the aim of expanding business in Latin America. Today this market represents a significant share of the company’s annual revenue.

20.02.2019 Guidoni Group – the largest exporter of ornamental stones in Brazil and a global reference in the sector – participated in Vitória Stone Fair 2019, the sector main event in Latin America, which taked place from February 12 to 15 in the city of Serra, Espírito Santo. For the 46th edition of the fair, the group presented its entire portfolio of natural and industrialized surfaces – including exclusive launches – aiming to establish itself as one of the world’s largest suppliers of diversified and innovative coatings and solutions for residential and corporate projects.

In this new moment of Guidoni, Vitória Stone Fair has great relevance for the rocks segment positioning itself as the most important fair in Latin America and generating global interest. Last year, we had great results with the opportunities generated by the event, especially for the countries of South and Central America and Mexico, and our expectation is to surpass the 30% growth in sales we recorded in the 2018 edition, explains Rafael Guidoni, CEO of the group.

With a strong participation in the Latin American market, Guidoni plans to be the main reference in natural and industrialized coatings in the region in the near future. In order to achieve this goal, the factory focuses on strengthening already established partnerships, conquering new strategic alliances and launching new products constantly, culminating in the exponential increase in exports and, consequently, in the group’s profit growth.

Portfolio news

With more than 25 years of know-how in the ornamental stones segment, Guidoni has around 50 own active deposits in Brazil, located in the states of Espírito Santo, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Mato Grosso, where it extracts different natural surfaces from quartzites, exotic granites and classical granites. For 2019, the highlight is the new family of Mato Grosso marbles that presents a neoclassical style in variations of shades white and gray, ideal for walls, floors, countertops and furniture of internal area.

Another focus of Guidoni is the consolidation of Topzstone, Brazil’s exclusive brand of industrialized natural quartz surfaces. For Vitória Stone Fair, the City Fragments collection was presented for the first time in Brazil in one of the ambiences of the Guidoni booth. In a minimalistic re-reading of the granilite – vintage material that is in vogue in national and international projects -, the surfaces bring different colors, nuances and fragments that exalt the mood of cosmopolitan life, expressed in five patterns that excel by urban design and that are revealed in an infinity of compositions. Topzstone materials are produced mainly in the company’s Espírito Santo head office in the city of São Domingos do Norte, with capacity to produce 100 thousand square meters per month.

During Vitória Stone Fair, Guidoni Group presented the new Imperiale Collection which brings the new dolomite marbles from Guidoni, extracted exclusively from a complex of Brazilian quarries.
